Ace_Tip #3: "Custom shapes" reflexion

If you ever find yourself in a position where you need to mirror a custom shape, here a short procedure to help you with the process:

Platform: Mac and PC
Applications:: Quark XPress
XTensions: none

Make sure the Item > Edit > Shape option is not checked.

To create an horizontal reflextion:
1. Copy the width of your shape from the measurement palette.
2. Drag the right (or left) bounds of your shape across its opposite side.
  You should end up with your shape flipped horizontally but distorted.
3. Paste the copied width back into the measurement palette.

To create a vertical reflextion:
1. Copy the height of your shape from the measurement palette.
2. Drag the top (or bottom) bounds of your shape across its opposite side.
  You should end up with your shape flipped vertically but distorted.
3. Paste the copied height back into the measurement palette.

Voilà!
